The mission of First Kids is to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and teaching them to observe all that He commands us.

The first thing you need to know is that we think kids rock! Jesus loved kids, gave them special attention and blessed them. As His followers, we strive to do the same. That’s why we can commit to you, as parents, our dedication to excellence when it comes to your kids. Our aim is to provide a fun, safe and engaging environment for your kids to CONNECT with God and others, GROW in knowledge and Christ-likeness and SERVE the church, community and the world.

Sunday School - Every Sunday at 9:00 am we offer age graded Bible studies in our children’s area. These Bible studies help kids learn the basics of God’s World and His love for them.

Behind the Scenes – Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm provide kids in grades 1-4 an opportunity to go deeper into God’s Word as they go “behind the scenes” of Scripture and life to see what it means to live their lives centered on Jesus Christ.

TeamKID – Wednesday nights from 6:00 – 7:30 pm are a blast as kids participate in high-energy, Bible-centered activities and games! All parts of TeamKID – Bible stories, Scripture memory, life application, missions and recreation – connect to teach life lessons.

Preteen – Throughout the year, 5th & 6th graders will have the opportunity to participate in events designed just for them. They’ll get to hang out with their peers and members of the First Kids leadership team while having fun doing things that are just a little more “grown-up” than our regular activities.

Preschool – Newborns through 5 year olds are important to our First Kenner family. That’s why we provide clean, safe and fun areas manned by friendly, pre-screened workers that will care for your little ones while you attend Bible study and worship.

Coming Soon:

Vacation Bible School – Each June, a week-long VBS launches an action packed summer of fun. From Monday to Friday, your kids will learn, sing and play their way through that year’s exciting theme which will help them know more about God and His love. This year’s VBS is June 7-11.

Centri-Kid Camp – Road Trip! If you’re looking for a camp to send your kids in grades 3-6 during the summer, look no further. CentriKid is a five day, four night camp for kids to experience the time of their lives and learn more about the message of Jesus Christ. This year’s camp is July 26-30.

Fall Festival – Each year, on October 31, we transform our recreation field into one of the top community events Kenner has to offer. Here’s the kicker – it’s FREE! Packed full of games, inflatables, live music and food; this is one of the best opportunities to come out and meet the First Kenner family. Your kids will thank you.
