Our desire is to provide opportunities for women to grow spiritually through prayer, Bible study, accountability groups, mission and outreach work, and fellowship retreats. Our prayer is that we as women and everyone at First Baptist Kenner would be united with a Kingdom focus, encouraging each other toward loving God and doing good works.

Our Women’s Ministry has Bible studies available during the spring and fall semesters. During the summer of 2010 we will have a monthly book club where we will discuss the book “Calm My Anxious Heart” by Linda Dillon.

Our Women on Mission meet one Saturday each month from 9am to 11am for brunch and to learn about and pray for missionaries and their work. We sponsor mission projects throughout the year, including the Crescent House (battered women’s shelter) ministry and the Global Maritime ministry. We also support our servicemen and women through prayer and packages.
