First Baptist of Kenner Men’s Ministry

The mission of First Baptist Church is to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that He commanded us.” We do that by Connecting, Growing, and Serving. As First Men—the men of First Baptist Church—we endeavor to carry out that mission as the men God has called us to be.

Connecting
In order to help others connect with God, we connect with them. We build strong relationships with our
families, friends, and other men so that they might know God through Jesus Christ.

Growing
Since accepting Christ is only the beginning of the Christian life, we study God’s Word and encourage others to do the same. This means we read our Bibles, participate in Bible studies, and seek relationships with other godly men so that we might all grow in knowledge and Christ-likeness.

Serving
Believing that every Christian is a minister of the Gospel, we actively work to advance the Gospel through our church, in the community, and throughout the world.

First Men are committed to Jesus Christ, our families, and our church. We accomplish our mission through mentoring
